Dallas data centers pull two AmLaw firms in on the same day, and Weil names new corporate co-chairs

Gibson Dunn added a partner and a senior counsel in Dallas, both into their Real Estate Practice Group and their Data Centers and Digital Infrastructure Practice Group. Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough added three corporate partners from Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, two in Atlanta and one in Raleigh, all of them representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. ArentFox Schiff hired the chair of Haynes and Boone, LLP's national real estate litigation practice in New York, who joins as their Real Estate Litigation Practice Leader. Haynes Boone, for their part, brought in a private wealth partner in Dallas out of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Hogan Lovells Cadwalader added a tax, pensions and benefits partner in Boston, hired out of Goodwin. Crowell & Moring took two senior government antitrust lawyers, one joining as a partner in DC from the Justice Department's Defense, Industrials and Aerospace section and one as senior counsel in New York from the FTC. McGuireWoods LLP kept building Seattle with two Boeing product liability lawyers, one as a partner and one as counsel. On the governance side, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP named their private equity and M&A leaders co-chairs of their Corporate Department, effective immediately. The department spans 600 lawyers across three continents.
