Ogletree doubles up in Los Angeles, and a marquee court appointment
Ogletree Deakins added two employment litigation shareholders in Los Angeles on the same day, one from Carlton Fields, where he was a shareholder, and one from FordHarrison, where he was a partner. The Recorder counts them as the firm's sixth and seventh shareholder additions in California this year. Womble Bond Dickinson added a finance, bankruptcy and restructuring partner in Wilmington, hired from Raines Feldman. On the litigation side, the Sixth Circuit appointed Williams & Connolly's Lisa Blatt to defend a federal judge's decision not to end the police reform agreement Cleveland reached with the Justice Department.
