Paul Weiss takes a Goodwin appellate partner. Sidley takes four out of Winston Taylor.

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison hired a Goodwin Procter partner in DC to head its Supreme Court and appellate litigation practice, a lawyer who has argued more than 100 appeals and 19 cases at the Supreme Court. Sidley Austin picked up a four-lawyer energy and infrastructure team from Winston Taylor across New York, Miami, DC and Houston, all of whom join as partners, and one of whom co-chaired Winston Taylor's project finance practice and served on its executive committee. Milbank is opening an office in Chicago and made a White & Case projects co-head its first partner hire in the city. White & Case took a Kirkland & Ellis real estate partner in Miami, and Stris & Maher launched a Dallas office with a four-partner intellectual property and life sciences litigation team. Arnold & Porter added a financial services partner in DC who came out of Luse Gorman, and Bass, Berry & Sims brought in a Bradley Arant Boult Cummings partner in Nashville along with new members in Chicago and DC.
