Kirkland stacks real estate partners for the AI data center boom, and the lateral wire stays busy
Kirkland & Ellis is stacking real estate partners to chase the AI data center boom. Its real estate hires now number twelve in the past twelve months, including partners from Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Ropes & Gray this month, and the firm is folding real estate into a 600-lawyer real assets group. Foley & Lardner took a labor and employment partner from Sidley Austin in Washington, Greenberg Traurig added a private equity shareholder in Chicago, and Thompson Hine launched a new energy practice with lateral partners across Los Angeles, New York, Silicon Valley and Washington.
On the business side, Fisher Phillips is combining with a Dallas trial firm, and the New York Law Journal released its annual NYLJ 100 ranking of the largest firms in the New York market.
