Latham takes a third Davis Polk capital markets partner, and Paramount's Warner deal is paused

Latham & Watkins poached another Davis Polk & Wardwell capital markets partner in New York, its third from that practice this month, and the same day A&O Shearman pulled a Davis Polk restructuring partner, also in New York. Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton took a two-partner white collar team from Katten in Chicago, Littler added an employment shareholder from Jackson Lewis, also in Chicago, King & Spalding brought in a finance and restructuring partner from Proskauer Rose in New York, and Hogan Lovells Cadwalader added an M&A partner from Goodwin Procter in Boston.

On the deal side, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Davis Polk are leading Jersey Mike's $1 billion IPO, and a federal judge paused Paramount's $110 billion takeover of Warner Bros.
