Sidley keeps raiding rivals' capital markets benches, and Latham loses two partners in a day

Sidley Austin kept up its capital markets hiring raid on rivals, adding a top high-yield partner from Latham & Watkins. Latham lost a second partner the same day, with Lowenstein Sandler adding an environmental lawyer in New York. O'Melveny & Myers brought in a securities partner in New York from McGuireWoods, Kilpatrick added a litigator in Silicon Valley from Perkins Coie, Troutman picked up a former Duke Energy counsel in Charlotte, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman added an IP tech litigator in Washington, DC, and Ogletree Deakins brought back an employment litigator as a shareholder in Orange County.

On the business side, Blank Rome was hit with two proposed class actions over a May data breach that allegedly exposed the personal information of more than 57,000 current and former clients.
