Dechert pulls two special situations partners from Ropes & Gray
Dechert LLP recruited two special situations partners from Ropes & Gray LLP, building out its distressed finance and liability management work. King & Spalding brought in a fund finance partner from Proskauer Rose LLP in New York for its finance and restructuring group, Vinson & Elkins added an IP litigator in LA from DLA Piper, and BakerHostetler picked up a business and community development partner in Chicago.
On the business side, the federal government hired Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, the firm defending President Trump in court, to advise on a possible redevelopment of the Pakistan-owned Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan. On the merger side, Hogan Lovells Cadwalader officially debuts tomorrow as one of New York's largest corporate firms.
