The standout in BigLaw today is at Manatt, where Epstein Becker Green just lifted out six health care litigators in a single move spread across three cities. Six people walking out of one practice group at once is almost never just six people leaving, it's usually the first crack.

Weil pulled an M&A partner back from Simpson Thacher, Cravath added a national security counsel in Washington after a string of partner departures earlier this year, Winston & Strawn brought on an international trade partner in the same city, and Cooley picked up a former federal prosecutor in Chicago.
