A hiring list too long for one section

Today the moves were the story. Bloomberg's partner-hiring list ran long enough to need a second section, so here's the quick run. Lowenstein added an M&A partner in New York. Greenberg Traurig added an energy and natural resources partner, also New York. Perkins Coie hired an environment and energy partner in San Diego. Winston added an IP litigator in Dallas. Foley Hoag picked up a sports and entertainment partner in Boston. One pattern worth a look: employment. Three firms staffed up at once, Seyfarth in Seattle, McDermott in Los Angeles, and Ogletree in Birmingham.

Away from the hiring news, Fenwick agreed to pay $54 million to settle claims tied to the collapse of FTX. The firm denies wrongdoing.
